Selecting poultry meat
  • Avoid any poultry that looks faded, has a strong odor, or feels tough or slimy.
  • Store the poultry meat that you buy in a refridgerator at 0-4 ℃.
  • If you buy frozen chicken and thaw it, cook as soon as possible, do not refreeze.
Selecting eggs
  • You can check their freshness by emerging them in a glass full of water:
    • If they lie horizontally in the water they are fresh,
    • Semi-horizontal means 7-10 days,
    • If they are vertical, they are not fresh.
  • Keep your eggs in their original packaging when storing in the refrigerator. Only wash them just before you use them.
